just discovered that I have access to lenny, since I generated packages for version 3.0.1 (latest stable):

http://www.kamailio.org/pub/kamailio/3.0.1/packages/debian-lenny/

And now I just generated for 1.5.4, if you want to stick to 1.5.x version:
http://www.kamailio.org/pub/kamailio/1.5.4/packages/debian-lenny/

I recommend you use 3.0.x, it has far more features and major improvements to transport layers and transaction management.

Cheers,
Daniel

Hello,

do you have libpurple-dev installed?

I do not have a lenny installation around, if you have the lib installed, can you paste the output of:

make modules modules=modules/purple

In case you do not need purple module, you can edit packaging/debian/control and remove dependency and packaging of kamailio-purple-module.

Hello Klaus,

i issued the folowing:

kamailio:/usr/src/kamailio-1.5.0-notls# make-deb
-su: make-deb: command not found

Then i tried with

kamailio:/usr/src/kamailio-1.5.0-notls# make deb

And after a log compilation of packages, in the end i coudl see this:

/usr/local/include/libpurple/status.h:93: error: expected specifier-qualifier-list before ‘gpointer’
make[3]: *** [clientpipe.o] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kamailio-1.5.0-notls/modules/purple'
make[2]: *** [modules] Error 2
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kamailio-1.5.0-notls'
make[1]: *** [build-stamp] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kamailio-1.5.0-notls'
dpkg-buildpackage: failure: debian/rules build gave error exit status 2
make: *** [deb] Error 2

What do you think about this? how can i solve this situation, am i loosing some dependencies?

IIRC "make-deb" works fine, also on Lenny.

Hello sip-router community...

I'm having some problems with my Kamailio installation
(kamailio-1.5.0-notls_src.tar.gz)...after downloading and decompress i
do the following:

kamailio:/usr/src/kamailio-1.5.0-notls# make deb-lenny
bison -d -b cfg cfg.y
cfg.y: conflicts: 1 shift/reduce
flex cfg.lex
make: *** No rule to make target `deb-lenny'.  Stop.

What sould i do to solve this problem? i really want to solve this but
it's quite dificult, could somebody help me please? i've checked on the
web, but no answers about this....does this has something to be with the
Makefile under kamailio directory?

Regards
