Never mind. I found it.

Subject: [Serusers] ser_ctl question
Hello:
I’m
just starting to make a serious attempt to build a SER v2 system. SER is built,
ser_mysql has been executed and the MySQL tables defined. With mysql –user –p I
can access the database with ser_ctl add domain I cannot. I get the following
error. DB_URI in serctl.conf was changed to reflect the new password for
the ser user. Yet I still get the following error. Any ideas why?
ser_ctl
domain add myschool.edu
ser_ctl:
(1045, "Access denied for user 'ser'@'localhost' (using password:
YES)"): OperationalError
Thanks,steve
