Hi Jimmy,
the idea is simple: look at what openser brings as a difference from ser (and vice-versa) and if you find something useful for you, give openser a try, otherwise keep ser :)
you just have to choose based on your requirement and the capabilities/functionalities of each version ....like at shopping :)
