Hello,
adding a bit more to help the newcommers: look at debugger module, it
can be used to change the debug level per module/component, plus few
other goodies for debugging:

Hi guys, sorry for the newbie question, I
searched for it and
couldn't find any reference, is there a way to change the debug level
of a kamailio server on the fly? If I need to add an additional
module it's not a problem. I'm using version 4.4.2 on Debian Jessie.
