Hi,
I've been tasked with getting an OpenSER system to talk to a Cisco
CallManager system.I've tried searching the docs, the mailing lists
and
google, but all my searches end up with references to the "trunk" in
the
source code repository.
Can someone point me somewhere which could help me in this task ?
I would recommend reading the SIPconnect specification from the Sip
Forum.
http://www.sipforum.com/
There's also a site named "SIP TRUNK network" at
http://www.siptrunk.org/
that describes SIP trunking.
The definition of a "SIP trunk" is as clear as "Session border
controller", which
means VERY undefined. SIPconnect is a very good attempt in clearing up
the definition of a "SIP trunk".
So start with defining what a "SIP Trunk" means in this case, then
read the
docs - there are plenty of docs, since I think you simply mean a SIP
connection
from one SIP server (SER) to another (Cisco CallManager) with or
without authentication (The AUTH and AUTH_DB modules).
