Hi Jan, I saw the 128 flag on my aliases table, but howcome when I restarted SER I can't contact the users using their aliases. Thanks,

Hi guys, How can I make an alias that will never expire? I want my users to use their username to register in SER but I want them to make calls using numbers or aliases? is this possible? I checked the alises table and it has an expire field, does it really expire on that time?
When you create an alias using serctl then it will automatically set "permanent" flag. When this flag is present then SER will ignore the expires value and the contact will be permanent. Contacts that have the flags value set to >= 128 are permanent.
Jan.
Thanks,
