Yeah, that was the first thing that popped in to my mind.
I'm using RHEL3 with kernel 2.4.21-15.0.4.ELsmp
Here is what I've done to get a fresh copy of the source from berlios
rm -rf ./sip_router export CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.berlios.de:/cvsroot/ser cvs login cvs co sip_router
Before compiling I did a find /usr -name "ser" to be 100% certain that I didn't have any ser modules floating around on my system.
The end result is the same old start up errors. For now I'm back to using 0.8.99-dev7 only because I need to have this SIP proxy up for a demonstration.
Thanks for the help, Paul

hmmm...strange.. try to make anew co from cvs head an see if it works - maybe you have some mixup. btw, what OS are you using?

Commenting out the MF section surpresses that particular error but then all
the
other errors relating to sl_send_reply, t_relay, append_hf, etc, etc still occur.

try to comment out the MF function and see if this will solve it, but I doubt it. Look like none of the function is found - look like a loading/exporting function problem

ser.cfg shouldn't be corrupt because I'm using ser.cfg from the berlios
cvs
server in the <ser-source>/etc/ directory.
I did update the call to mf_process_maxfwd_header to include the second parameter. So as I see it all indications are either I'm not using the mf_process_maxfw_header signature correctly, or a bug now exists in ser
dev9.
