You are right, linphone was running on background and using the port 5060. Now openser is running ok.

What does it mean?
means that openser is already running or there is some other application using the port 5060.
Do 'ps auxw | grep openser' and see if it is running.

Hi Andréa,
it will very helpful if you can post the error
(from
syslog) generated by openser at startup. NOTE: not the one on the console "PID file /var/run/openser.pid does notexist -- SER start failed" (generated by openserctl), but the from syslog, generated by openser.

regarding, the error generated by 'openserctl
start'
- it mighr be
because it failes to find the config file (look
into
the log for errors)
- if so, you should try to rename the config
file
(
if from packages /etc/openser/openser.cfg in
/etc/openser/ser.cfg;
I already have renamed this file. But the error
is
generated again. =/
