On Wed, 12 Apr 2006 Gould, Aaron kneaded and moulded: | |oh, cisco phone, ummm, yeah i put the 5 files in a tftp server i think it was ... | |OS79XX |P003-08-2-00.bin |P003-08-2-00.sbn |P003-08-2-00.loads |P003-08-2-00.sb2
which is definitely not correct:
- if you're running version 7 or higher there is no need for the OS79XX.TXT file
- the .bin and .sbn are the unsigned and signed images containing the universal application loader.
- the .loads and .sb2 files must be coded P0S3... and not P003.
I know, it is confusing, but that is the way it is.
cheers, Jan
| |and it loaded up a new universal application loader into the phones....."...2000-2006" | |then they loaded their sip firmware ....blinky lights during upgrade.....now they boot up and go through a decision tree to find a valid config file which i haven't been able to figure out yet...... | |aaron | |________________________________ | |From: serusers-bounces@lists.iptel.org on behalf of Cesc |Sent: Wed 4/12/2006 6:07 AM |To: SER-Users |Subject: [Serusers] cisco sip phones? | | | |Hi, | |I am looking for experiences with cisco (series 79xx) phones with sip |... can it be installed (sip) on all of them? or just a few models |(7960 ... or 7970)? | |Tks! | |Cesc | |_______________________________________________ |Serusers mailing list |serusers@lists.iptel.org |http://lists.iptel.org/mailman/listinfo/serusers | | |_______________________________________________ |Serusers mailing list |serusers@lists.iptel.org |http://lists.iptel.org/mailman/listinfo/serusers |
