Hi Stefan, I hope you don't mind that I write directly to your e-mail address but I've been researching to solve my problem with SER and SEMS and as I've seen in the mailing lists it seems that you know a lot about it.
My SER version is 0.8.14 and my SEMS version is cvs.
Appart from SEMS, SIP calls work fine, also calls to the PSTN and SERWEB too.
I see many things have changed in the latest SER version (t_write_req, no vm module, fifo_db_url....). I only need SEMS for voicemail, I don't need any other functionality.
Now it seems that everything is nearly working fine but I get many errors about consume_request:
Error: AmServer.cpp (88):consume_request: consumed : XXXXXXXXXX
I've seen on SEMS mailing list (http://www.archivum.info/sems@lists.iptel.org/2005-05/msg00030.html) you recommend to upgrade to version 9.0 of SEMS.
Do I really need to do that? If I have to upgrade, do I keep my ser.cfg, and all the files I've modified or is it like a start from the very beginning? All the modules have to be reinstalled? How do I get rid of the old version?
As you can see I have many doubts about upgrading and that's why I would prefer to keep SER 0.8.14 if it's possible that I get voicemail to work.
Thank you very much for your help,
Llanos
