In SER 0.10. Suppose I want to check if the attribute “anonreject”
exists for one of my subscribers. The subscriber has been assigned extension
12345 in domain school.edu. The mysql user_attrs entry for this subscriber
contains the following.
+-----------------+------------------+---------------------+------+-------+
| uid | name | value |
type | flags |
+-----------------+------------------+---------------------+------+-------+
| 38396@upenn.edu | anonreject | y |
0 | 0 |
+-----------------+------------------+---------------------+------+-------+
In SER 0.9.x I might do something like:
if (avp_db_load("$ruri/uid",
"s:anonreject")) { ….}
How would this same step be performed in SER 0.10.x ?
Thanks,steve

I knew there is a discontinuity between old and new
versions of SER and avpops but I could not find any documentation which described
how avpops can be used with SER 0.10. Thanks for the note.
I’m currently trying to use the DB migration tool to fully
populate my SER 0.10 database in the hope that this will clarify how avpops
interacts with those parameters which use to be stored in usr_preference.

Blair,
do you know new version of avpops does not support express router?
http://www.voice-system.ro/docs/avpops/
new version of avopps have more "exported function" compare to old
one, maybe you trying to use new function that are not supported in express
router.
i haven't upgrade mine but soon will be converting to newer version of iptel.org
Please be aware that this document is no longer valid for SIP Express Router,
but for OpenSER v1.0.0+ (http://www.openser.org).
The old version of the document is here.

Hello:
I
saw your post on the iptel.org
web site about SER 0.10 and AVPs. I'm trying to convert a SER 0.9.x system to
SER 0.10.x and the AVPOPS are giving me the most trouble. Did you find any
documentation on how to implement the new avpops to do MySQL queries ?
Thanks,Steve
