the best would be to run it on a seperate machine, with port mirroring,
that way you would never touch anything that's in production, if a call
is being saved, nobody would see the process, and load would keep low.

yeah just tried it out, looks okay, i think asterisk can also record, but
this is nice and lightweight, if this was built into mediaproxy it would
be better, that way you dont need to run separate processes...
