This should be actually very simple, because you can configure yum to fetch all the packages for you, that includes ser, serweb, rtpproxy and all the modules.
Just create ser.repo file in /etc/yum.repos.d
Put the following in the file:
--------------------------------------------------------- [ser] name=SIP Express Router for Fedora-$releasever-$basearch baseurl=http://yum.sip-router.org/fedora-$releasever/main/ enabled=1 gpgcheck=0 ---------------------------------------------------------
type yum install serweb and you are all set.

Karel,
Thanks again. I am running FC4. Seems to start OK, but you are right I need to find out how to install "phpize". A long and windly path to getting SERWEB to work, but at least I am learning along the way and making progress. :-)

Hi Leo,
I didn't know about "runkit" extension. Thanks you mentioned it. I will adjust serweb to work with it. But I afraid that you can't use it now.
To install classkit simply type on command line:
pear install -f classkit
If you get an error mentioning "phpize" you also might need to install some dev package, like php4-dev on Debian systems.

Karel,
I looked all over the PHP site. I cannot figure out how to install a PHP extension.
I downloaded "runkit" which is the replacement for "classkit", but it is just a directory with a bunch of XML and C files and no make file. I can't figure out what to do. Do you know where I might learn how to install this PHP extension on PHP 5?

Hi Leo, yes, PHP5 users needs install Classkit extension. It contains some functions from PHP4 which are missing in PHP5.

Dear serusers,
I am running latest SER 0.9.3 with MySQL support successfully of Fedora Core 4.
I installed SERWEB 0.9.3. My compliments to whoever wrote the INSTALL file, it is very good.
I get this error when I try to open the http://mydomain.com/admin/index.php file:
Function aggergate_method() doesn't exists. Try install Classkit
extension.
Do I really need to do this or is something else wrong?
