Yup, you'd better install 0.9.4 version
0.8.12 is outdated and it can not work with onsip ser.cfg.
There is a bunch of new functions and not only in nathelper module.

Hello,
you have to give us more information.
Try to debug by enabling setting the line
debug=3
log_stderror=yes
If you have any errors place it here and then it is easier to dig
through.
The onsip.org NAThelper/RTPproxy ser.cfg works for me with no problems.
I just changed the listen address and that's it.
