Thanks for notifying, it is good to have in mind. However, I expect that
some older versions of OS distros will not have the new lib, so the
geoip module should be kept for a while...

If you use kamailio's geoip module, I suggest to switch to geoip2 module which
uses Geolite2 databases and is a plug in replacement for geoip module.
