Then you should not have any problem using SEMS as an input into commercial services. :-) As a general rule, open-source licensing is not concerned with _how_ you can use the software, only how you distribute it and/or any modifications you make to it. Think, for example, about something like Linux, which you are likely also using. You are free to use Linux to make money.
However, it is surprising that you are not familiar with the GPL (GNU General Public Licence), since it is all but ubiquitous and probably the most popular open-source licence out there. I would take the time to research it, get familiar with its basic premises, and, of course, consult a lawyer if you have any truly esoteric questions.
