I applied the patch and all is well.
I removed all hacks from my ser script and
the SNOM phone works, out of the box.
I don't know why I didn't look at ISSUES earlier...sorry...
I just love the way SIP stuff is interchangable :-)

Just to be safe -- have you applied the "ACK/200 RFC3261
patch" described in ISSUES
on ser's webpage?
