Btw. the webserver is the standard Redhat httpd 2.0.40.21 (Apache), no
modifications.

As a start, always read the "readme" and the "install" documentation.
The files missing is files you should create to get the layout you want on
the serweb interace. Create them and put something in them, then you will
understand what happens.

Call me a noob, but I'm having similar problems as Jon mentions in his
original post, albeit limited to one file: preload.js.
I suspect the preload.js plays a part in accepting anything that is entered in
whatever html form that is within SerWeb.
The admin logon screen returns empty when I fillout the username/password and
hit the Login button.
Then, I hardcoded my username/password in index.php, and got in. Alas, in
every subsequent form, the data I submit is not processed. Same applies to
the page where you can register yourself as a new user.
I've gone through all available documentation, but can't find any mention of
preload.js. This is the only 404 error I see in apache's access_log. The file
simply is not on my system.
I'm running Slackware 9.1 with Apache/1.3.28
I suspect there is no mention about preload.js in any documentation, because
it is assumed it should be on any system. Question then is, with what package
should it have been installed, apache? php?
I would appreciate it if someone could give me a nudge in the right direction,
in particular:
Is my conclusion correct? Is preload.js required for form-data submittal?
Where/how to obtain preload.js ?
Where to put it once I have it ?
