That is a general - and highly valid - objection to the state of Kamailio documentation.
By and large, it's a reference, with no conceptual glue, in narrative form, or
methodological instruction. There is only information on how to do X, not what X is or why
you would want to do it.
We are trying to change that. Progress is slow, undeniably.
