Hi,
I have not gone through the source code of SER. So,
could you please explain about trying CVS head? Does
this mean, I have to change the code, and recompile
it, or does this provide the binary?
Also, is there any example for the scenario I have
described below?
Also, what is avpops? Is there any example which I can
refer? By the way, I am using 0.9.6 version on Linux
system.
Thanks,
Vivek

It's probably possible by some avpops
magic...
However, I would
definitely recommend you to try out cvs head. It has
a new way of
addressing and manipulating various parts of SIP
messages that is more
flexible (and easier to use).

Hi,
I am using SER (version 0.9.6 on linux machine) to
simulate S-CSCF for IMS testing. Is there any way
to
pass environment variable inside append_hf
function in
SER?
For example, I want to append Route header like:
append_hf("Route: <sip:ims-$SIP_USER@172.16.13.1
\r\n"); But, append_hf takes "$SIP_USER" as a
literal
string. Is there any way to substitute this
$SIP_USER
with the corresponding username of Req-URI
value?
Thanks,
Vivek
