When building the debs. I added to debian/rules:
# Uncomment this to turn on verbose mode. # export QUIET=verbose
Might be a good idea to add those lines to official Kamailio deb rules too.
But it should be possible to get the same effect by:
$ QUIET=verbose $ export QUIET $ make
