I might not be able to help, since my SER usage is
totally diffent,
but let me see if I got this right:
- You want the SER to forward REGISTER messages to
the Asterisk.
- The user agents use private IP addresses.
- You want the SER to perform NAT? (I'm guessing
here)

I added this in register block
rewritehostport("nxs.yi.org:5050");
t_relay_to_udp("nxs.yi.org","5050");
5050 = asterisk port
