Hello,
Thanks for the clarification.
I do not see get_statistics on the "micommands" page on the wiki. Where in the documentation is this command discussed?
Are the stats for all processes or only for the process the responds to the mi command ?
pkg.stats is rpc command, get_statistics is MI. All are implemented in the kex module, but the mi statistics is missing from docs. I will add in the near future.
The statistics via MI are for shared memory, they are for the kamailio instance, the pkg are for each of the processes.

Thanks,
David

Hello,
-m is shared memory, so it is allocated per instance, it does not matter how many children you configure.
kamctl fifo get_statistics all - returns internal statistics, including about shared memory kamctl stats - it's an alias to the previous command in the 3.3.x sercmd pkg.stats - to get statistics about private memory usage

Hello,
I originally asked this on IRC, but realized that this is probably better suited for the mailing list :
If I set memory usage to 100mb ( -m 100 ) and set 100 children ( children=100 in kamailio.cfg ). Will Kamailio use 100 mb or 10, 000 mb ( 10 gb ) of memory ? Is the memory limit per child or global for kamailio ?
Is there an MI command I can send to check what kamailio's health ? ( load, free memory, etc... ) ?
Thanks,
David
