I am new to OpenSER. I wanted to know if there was a package already compiled to support a P4 Intel machine.
What distribution do you use? If you're using Fedora/CentOS/RHEL/Oracle Linux there is a openser package in standart repository.
There is also packages in standart repositories for other popular distros including Debian (and derivatives), OpenSuSE, Mandriva etc
