Ive found this memory bug mentioned in lots of postings on tis list dating back to May 2003. Therefore it should be a known problem
I'm not sure that's the same one -- this is a place which allocates a large fragment so it is the place where lack of memory becomes visible. The memory leak may be caused somewhere else.
