Yes the mysql deamon starts at boot time.... However the SER dont, and is
started manually by /usr/local/sbin/ser start.
When the SER is reinstalled it workes fine but at reboot it lockes up the
same way again.
Im running SER 0.8.12 on a Slackware 9,1 system with mysql 4.0.18.
