another good piece of documentation to start with is ser getting started tutorial: http://www.iptel.org/ser/doc/gettingstarted
While many have changed in kamailio, still inherits lot from ser, therefore worth reading. Also, it becomes more actual with next version based on http://sip-router.org.
Cheers, Daniel

There is a book based on openser that you can buy. While Kamailio has progressed and developed, it does provide a beginners guide to understand what you are reading on the Kamailio site. http://www.packtpub.com/building-telephony-systems-with-openser/book I bought the e-book version for US$26 and found it very helpful. There are only stupid answers (German saw). I have brilliant tips/answers from other users (thanks) and you can compare these with your answers. You are not forced to say/do anything, if you can not or you dont want to du that. Not all users are genius (same u).
