Hello,

another option is to look at the commits in the branch 5.8:

Usually all (or most) of them are cherry-picked with reference, so their commit message include an id (made link on the web portal) reference to the commit in the master branch, otherwise the commit message is the same as for master branch.

I just pushed the commits that were considered for backporting, only 1 or 2 are still pending review as they failed to merge directly on backport. If someone does not find a commit in the branch 5.8 that should be there for 5.8.4, do report it here.

Cheers,
Daniel

Hello,

(nitpick) 5.8 is a branch, not a tag. 😊

For the archives, the following command will list the difference between the 5.8.3 tag and the 5.8 branch:

$ git log 5.8.3...origin/5.8

Also keep in mind that many “cherry-picks” are done as part of the release preparations, so right now there are only a few commits listed by the above command.

Cheers,

Henning

Nevermind,  It's comparing tag 5.8 to  tag 5.8.3 🙂

Hello,

I am considering to release Kamailio v5.8.4 (out of branch 5.8) sometime
next week, most likely on Tuesday, Nov 12, 2024. If anyone is aware of
issues not yet on the bug tracker, report them there asap in order to
have a better chance to be fixed.

Cheers,
Daniel
