[Serusers] Is there SERWEB stable version??

Hello all. I downloaded ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/ser/latest/contrib/serweb_2004-01-04.tar.gz <ftp://ftp.berlios.de/pub/ser/latest/contrib/serweb_2004-01-04.tar.gz> but I'm not sure if it could be considered the current stable version (corresponding to stable ser 0.8.12) and I was thinking in use it in a prod environment, so the question? [Serusers] TCP endpoints behind NAT

Hello I have following use case: Endpoint1 <------> NAT <------> SER <------> NAT <------> Endpoint2 10.0.0.10 TCP TCP 192.168.0.4 Both enpoints are behind a NAT, connected via TCP transport to SER. The problem is that no message can be routed between them. It looks like SER connot find open tcp connection. So, how to configure SER for serving the TCP endpoints behind a NAT? Martin

[Serusers] force_rtp_proxy without any impact on SDP

Hi all, I am trying to get nathelper + rtpproxy working but I now have a problem: "force_rtp_proxy" does not change anything in the SDP-part e.g. of INVITE. I have attached: - my ser.cfg - the syslog output (DEBUG=3): rtpproxy_test.log Here are my hints where to look at: - line 213 in ser.cfg contains the force_rtp_proxy() statement - line 37 in rtpproxy_test.log holds the log output of the statement before force_rtp_proxy() - below are the contents of the received and the forwarded INVITE request I expected the IP-address and port-number of the forwarded INVITE to be modified (IP-address of rtpproxy= 192.168.20.2). Why does it not work? I have a reverted test-scenario where ser + rtpproxy are within a private network (192.168.20.2) and I have arranged to get a INVITE from outside (62.218.76.30). But this should have no influence on force_rtp_proxy(). Any ideas? [Serusers] ser and rtpproxy versioning problem

Hi, I am here again. I now re-built ser from unstable branch (at least I believe so) to get rid of a potential versioning problem with rtpproxy. I used the cvs commands: - CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous@cvs.berlios.de:/cvsroot/ser - export CVSROOT - cvs login - cvs co sip_router After successful compiling and restart of ser I still have my problem "rtpproxy: command syntax error" whenever force_rtp_proxy() is called. Now I have some doubts if I am really using unstable ser. How can I verify this? The server signature still is: Sip EXpress router (0.8.12-tcp_nonb (i386/linux)) Any help appreciated. Franz

Hi all: I am trying ser with nathelper and rttproxy(in bridge mode) ser-0.8.13-dev-28 UA1 -------- NAT / SER------------- 192.168.5.1 / 61.61.61.1 when i run rtpproxy with '-l 192.168.5.1/61.61.61.1' it shows error msg "rtpproxy: setbindhost:Temporary failure in name resolution" the rtpproxy crashs... then i see the code ,i found it fail in name resolution 192.168.5.1 and will send a dns request to dns server to asking where is 192.168.5.1 Is something wrong? or anyone can give me any idea about what was wrong? thanks Jimmy

[Serusers] doubts on rtpproxy working properly

Hello again, further on the problem which I posted yesterday (subject: force_rtp_proxy without any impact on SDP) I have some doubts on rtproxy working properly on my machine (SuSE Linux 9.0). When I start rtpproxy (version 20040107) I can verify rtpproxy running with the "ps" command. But looking for a Unix domain socket, which I expect to be used by rtpproxy, I cannot find any entry for a socket (using "netstat" command). Should not be there a Unix domain socket for rtpproxy if it is running? Franz

[Serusers] pc2pc problem

Hi all, For a PC2PC session to establish properly, the following signaling sequence should occur between the clients: Client1 ---> INVITE ---> Client2 <--- 200 OK <--- ----> ACK ----> Client2 will get into the CONNECTED state only after it gets the ACK response from Client1. According to the logs, INVITE/200 OK works fine, however, the final ACK response sent by Client1 does not make it to the Client2, i.e. Client2 does not get it. So after about 30 seconds, Client2 hits a transaction timeout and sends a BYE request back to Client1. According to the logs, even this BYE request does not make it to Client1, so Client1 remains in the CONNECTED state. Can you help me on this topic? Thanks Keyvan
