I guess serweb uses TCP instead of UDP bcoz I am seeing tons of TCP traffic. Has any one encountered such thing. Can I change the serweb setting so that I can have UDP instead of TCP. Also if its working on TCP how can I see my sip information.. Also does anyone knows how the hell can I use serweb to make a call I have added users in my phone book But they always show offline, even though they have logged in. Hello everybody, I installed the SER again in my computer and I need to know about the authentification.. do I need to use mysql authentification or is it enough to use radius? what are the configuration files that I need to run SER? [Serusers] CC-Diversion and Voice Mail

Hello: I need help configuring CC-Diversion to access an Octel 350 voice mail server through a Cisco 2620XM gateway. All inbound and out bound calls work through the same gateway. Under some circumstances an unanswered inbound call gets diverted to the gateway with the CC-Diversion header applied and under other circumstances no such diversion takes place. If you have this feature working I'd like to ask you some questions. Specifically what was done on the Cisco box to make this work. You need to give that file write permissions in the ser configuration file. fifo_mode=0666. Ex: check_via=no # (cmd. line: -v) dns=no # (cmd. line: -r) rev_dns=no # (cmd. line: -R) port=5060 children=4 fifo="/tmp/ser_fifo" fifo_mode=0666 Then restart ser, this should fix your problem. [Serusers] Serweb doubt

Hi I have my serweb running integrated with Mysql. All that is fine But I have a error always saying "sorry -- cannot open write fifo" I have never done anything with fifo. Do I have to set it up If yes then how. Also I want to make calls through my serweb user webpage but I don't see any option of doing that. I can only see a option of IM in it, but that too does not work due to FIFO error. So any1 out there can help me out ...... [Serusers] protocol fixup: missing ACK after 200 OK

I have a user agent that does not ACK after 200 OK. Is it possible to configure SER to generate an ACK and reply to 200 OK? broken UA ---- INVITE ---> ser <---- 100 ------- ser ---- INVITE ---> gateway 183 183 ser <--- 200 OK---- gateway broken UA <---- 200 ----- ser <------ 2 way RTP -----------> Call is mostly established, but broken UA does not ACK the 200 OK. Can we generate the following packet? ser --- ACK ---> gateway This would allow the broken UA to interop. Can SER generate this ACK? Thanks, Jamie Yukes

[Serusers] SERWEB-User Login Problems

I have successfully installed the latest SERweb and am able to login under admin. The problem I am having now is that none of my users can login and see their account. I have checked all my configurations in php,mysql and apache but don't see any obvious errors. I have a password for the users and they are using the correct one. I check the error logs and don't see any messages. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Dear Sir, I am new to SER. Can I modify the code and run it as per my need? I am working on a SIP application and need to test it with a server which will understand my modified SIP Message. This SIP message will have some specific Parameters. So can I modify registrar code to work as per my need? Rgds- Vanita Jain
