nat_uac_test can be call with parameter :
"1" : via adress is compared to signaling IP
"2" : test if RFC1918 adress
But in some configuration, i see "3". What is it for ? I can't find it in the nathelper code.
Another question, what happen if two people on the SAME LOCAL network try to call each other via my SER server ?
Their adress will be detected as private and rtpproxy will be use, but it's not needed as they are visible for each other.
How could i prevent this ?

I've found a solution for this problem:
I forgot to use mysql module instead of dbtext. Error
says that dbtext couldn't open mysql database. This
was pretty trivial...

has anyone any pointers on how to implement interdomain
routing with SER _without_ using the domain part of an
uri when dialing.
Example:
I want to map sip:400000@mydomain (not only one id but a complete range)
to sip:400000@otherdomain.
"mydomain" is served via my Proxy server and otherdomain by someone else.
My first thought was to just rewrite the "to" part of the uri but AFAIK
thats not suggested because it violates the SIP RFC.
On the other hand i dont see how to circumvent rewriting the "to" uri
unless both sides use E164/ENUM Numbers or the enduser uses complete
sip addresses and not only the (numeric) user part.

i have been receiving the following error, when i try to create a new
doman:

Also when i try to create a user i get the following error:

MySql password:
error: overlap with an existing alias
And i don't have nothing in the table aliasesç
I have other problem when i try to check ot aliases
serctl alias show test
400 table (aliases) not found
What could the problem be, i have compiled ser with mysql support.

Consequently if I allow more than one contact for each username, there is no
way to assure that my access control policy will be applied to all contacts?
However I was thinking to another scenario where I don't permit that two
clients are registered with the same username.
When I need to use the forking I create a special user and I explicitly
define the set of contacts associated to it.
All the components of these sets will have the same domain administrated by
the proxy, so all the INVITEs generated in forking mode came back to the
proxy and the entire config script is executed for each contact.
sip:special_user@proxy_domain ----> sip:user1@proxy_domain --->
user1@ip_address1
----> sip:user2@proxy_domain --->
user2@ip_address2
In this situation, when I need to avoid to contact only one of the two
users, I can't send an error message.
What do you think about this use of the recursive elaboration?
I think that there is the risk to lost the control, and I'm still evaluating
all the situations that could become dangerous.

This is not possible because the config script will be executed for the
first branch only, thus you couldn't implement any per-branch policy.

Hi all,
I'm trying to write my own module for SER, and I need to get the ip adress in
the good order.
How can I do it?
I need this address to be converted into a (char*).
The way I get it is by using ip_addr2a(&_msg->rcv.src_ip). But it's not in the
good order.
Please help me and if you can, the lines I have to add to make it work.
