Dear open(ser) users,
I posted many mails in the past in order to find some
help to solve a problem.
Some people can't answer however I don't think ALL
people on these lists can not give me a way .
I do hope some people will answer unless those people
has blacklisted me !
Regards
Harry

Hi all
I want to know how openser work. When i execute
/usr/local/sbin/openser, how does this file use the openser.cfg file to
make openser work with nathelper?
I want to know how is a call process in openser from the client A to
client B using nathelper/rtpproxy module.
Regards!
Serge
Hi,
According the documentation about TLS (http://openser.org/docs/tls.html) and
the "listen" interface description, I understand that it would be possible
to have openSER listening on a specific port for encryption and not for
others. But I think it's was not possible as soon as we use "disable_tls =
0"
So Is it possible (and is it working) to have in the same conf file
something like this:
disable_tls=0
listen=tls:1.2.3.4:5061
listen=udp:1.2.3.4:5060
Thanks,
Christophe
Hi all
I want to add nathelper/rtpproxy module in the VOCAL system of
VOVIDA. I think openser core call the nathelper module by the
openser.cfg config file. I want to use the exported nathelper's
functions.
What do you think about it?
Regards!
Hello,
Here is my config :
Asterisk as registrar server :public ip:5050
Ser as outbound proxy server :public ip 5060
I wish ser to handle the packets between Nat box
(netfilter) and Asterisk However contact field in
the sip HF don't change from nat box to asterisk which
don't allow to keep the sessions via SER .
Ser receive packets with private ip in contact field
which one is forward to asterisk .
How ser can handle the contact field to establish sip
sessions between sip agents and asterisk ?
I've been trying mangle and textops modules but i
really need to be adviced.
One box

Hi,
I am trying to install the last unstable SER version with support for SIP-based presence. The server is a Fedora core 1 machine. I have installed the libcurl (curl-7.10.6-7) and libxml2 (libxml2 2.6.6-3) libraries. When I compile and install the libraries of SER (make f Makefile.ser install), it does several errors. The most important are:
In file included from parse_pres_rules.c:35:
/root/sip_router/lib/xcap/xml_utils.h:26:27: libxml/parser.h: No such file or di
rectory
/root/sip_router/lib/xcap/xml_utils.h:27:25: libxml/tree.h: No such file or dire
ctory
Could anybody help me?
Thank you

Hello,
Does anyone know of a module or other code for OpenSER that collects and
provides OAM monitoring information on the state of the server? The end
goal would be to monitor the process via SNMP.
Any information-gathering support will be of assistance. Ideally, I'd
like to see information like that specified in the IETF draft SIP MIBs
available for collection/retrieval.
Thank you!
