Hi!
I've tried to port the new postgres module to openser and had some problems:
.. symbol PQserverVersion not found ..
after removing PQserverVersion from source, the module loads but there
are other problems:
0(0) postgres:timestamp_format: Binary format expected but server sent
text
0(0) postgres: Error: 0(0) postgres: Unknown error occurred, giving up
Are there some known limitations? Does the new module requires
postgresql 8.0, or a certain postgresql client library?

Hi,
I'm thinking of monitoring mediaproxy using nagios. I've already
done monitoring SER using nagios using sipsak. I tried telnet-ing on
25060 but not successful. Please help.

Hello,
I have a question regarding caller ID currently I am catching some flak because when ou outbound calls ring to the PSTN
they see ,for instance SER username is 6013, 6013 on their caller ID. How do you handle this to show a valid inbound number on a user by user basis. We have a couple different people that use our server for outbound termination only they want it for instance to show
888-555-1212. Is there anything I can do to force ser to show a fulle telephone number instead of a user.
I was thinking of changing their username to be the phone number they want to show up but is their another way?

Hi,
I just committed a new group feature: so far we have group support with
fixed matching: user X belongs to group G; the new regexp support allows
you to fetch all the groups for which the user matched a RE (if the URI
match the Re, means the belongs that group).
See http://www.openser.org/docs/modules/1.1.x/group.html
Application example:
imagine you have routing point between several termination points
(gateways, media servers, application servers, etc) and you have large
blocks of numbers/users (K or 10K order).
you know that certain range of users must be routed to specific
destinations. So use RE based groups to define the range of users ->
flexible and scalable routing and simple to provision.

bogdan
