Hi,
I'm just curious about the way SER performs a shutdown. Is there a
graceful shutdown handling? If so, what exactly is done?
IMHO a nice way would be to stop accepting new transactions (rejecting
them with 301 for example to allow them to be resend to another server)
but still accepting messages corresponding to ongoing transactions like
100/180/200 responses and ACK requests. If there are no more incomplete
transactions, the socket could be closed and the process could shut down.
Comments?

Hi.
Finally I uninstalled mysql 3.23.58 and installed ver 4.1.12-standard-log.
Now when I trry to run ser_mysql.sh I get /ysr/local/sbin/ser_mysql.sh: line
89: mysql: command not found.
How can I tell CMD= that it is at /usr/local/mysql/bin ?

Well, the patch has never been tested for 0.10.99, it was written for
Juha's 0.9-backport, for which it works great for millions of calls so
far (at least for me ;o) )
Francesco Botta reported some problems with RPID-Header after updating
SER in April, but I don't know his current status.
I'll take some time to port the patch to CVS-HEAD next week though.

I'm looking for a way to look up a phone number and then prepending a prefix
to the number then forwarding it to a host...
Basicly something like this
result=exec('/home/scripts/lookup.pl 800-555-1212')
if(result)
# Lookup failed, assume that this is a phonenumber URL until I setup pattern
matching
# Send to the TNT
xlog("L_INFO", "Sending URI (%ru) to TNT");
prefix(result);
rewritehostport("10.1.1.5:5060 <http://10.1.1.5:5060>")
};
basicly then result would contain 333, or 555, or 777. Depending on then
number that was returned from lookup.pl
is there anyway to do this? Or any other way to do it?
Thanks
Andrew
Hi experts,
I am unable to load the mysql module while starting up the SER. Have built the SER from the sources and using SER 0.9.3. The ser.cfg file is below:
#
# $Id: ser.cfg,v 1.21.4.1 2003/11/10 15:35:15 andrei Exp $
#
# simple quick-start config script
#
# ----------- global configuration parameters ------------------------
#debug=3 # debug level (cmd line: -dddddddddd)
#fork=yes
#log_stderror=no # (cmd line: -E)
/* Uncomment these lines to enter debugging mode
debug=7
fork=no
log_stderror=yes
*/
check_via=no # (cmd. line: -v)
dns=no # (cmd. line: -r)
rev_dns=no # (cmd. line: -R)
#port=5060
#children=4
fifo="/tmp/ser_fifo"
# ------------------ module loading ----------------------------------
# Uncomment this if you want to use SQL database
loadmodule "/usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so"
And I am getting the following error
Jul 14 13:39:00 proxy ser: ERROR: load_module: could not open module </usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so>: /usr/local/lib/ser/modules/mysql.so: undefined symbol: fm_malloc
Jul 14 13:39:00 proxy ser: parse error (31,13-14): failed to load module
Any clue??
Best Regards,
Naresh
