Valued Colleagues,
Can anyone tell me of avpops can be used within routing and
failure_route blocks?!
If it can not be used, what can I use instead?
My usr_preferences table in the database contains:
mysql> select * from usr_preferences where uuid='6474383000' order by
uuid, attribute;
+------------+------------+--------------+--------------+---------------
--------------+------+----------------+
| uuid | username | domain | attribute | value
| type | modified |
+------------+------------+--------------+--------------+---------------
--------------+------+----------------+
| 6474383000 | 6474383000 | goldline.net | findme1-ring | 20
| 0 | 20050712155359 |
| 6474383000 | 6474383000 | goldline.net | findme1-uri |
sip:4168491076@xxxxxxxx.xxx | 0 | 20050712155359 |
+------------+------------+--------------+--------------+---------------
--------------+------+----------------+
I run the code attached at the bottom. Because the table is populated
properly,
it should print
"---------ser.cfg - route[11]: inv_timeout: 20!"
but it prints:
"---------ser.cfg - route[11]: default inv_timeout: 20!"
which indicates to me that avp_db_load is not working properly.
Thanks
ramin
route[11]
{
if (avp_db_load("$ruri/username", "s:findme1-ring"))
{
log(3, "---------ser.cfg - route[11]:: FindMe:
s:findme1-ring read from database\n");
};
else
if (avp_check("s:findme1-ring", "eq/20/i"))
{
avp_write("i:20", "inv_timeout");
log(3, "---------ser.cfg - route[11]:
inv_timeout: 20!\n");
}
else
{
avp_write("i:20", "inv_timeout");
log(3, "---------ser.cfg - route[11]: default
inv_timeout: 20!\n");
}
}
Hello, Is it possible to allow an UA to make calls
without it registering itself? IN other words, I
disable registration on the phone and enter the
correct proxy info. Now when UA makes call, the INVITE
goes to SER. Can SER extract the contact info from the
INVITE and then upon detecting that the "user is not
registered" simply register the contact info?
Thanks
Dave

Cisco firmware 7.5 just came out, if anyone need this go ahead and go to
here http://www.optifone.com/forum in there you should find firmware 7.3,
7.4, and 7.5, also help with asterisk and iptel stuff.
Let me know.
How can i set ser.cfg so that i can send IM from serweb to UA? (SJPhone,
Xlite, Windows Messenger)
is there any ser.cfg with IM enable example where i can refer to?
thank you.
Dear Seong,
I've tried to see their product before and as same they always gave short replies like "no, you can't" or "no, it's impossible", i just wanted to be sure to see what i can get and look how it looks and change into my needs. There's no evaluation or demo on how you can operate with it.
May be you can have a look at the projects:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/asteriskathome/ you get an asterisk box working within one hour.
http://openser.org/pub/openser/latest/packages/ you can get RPMs for your system, so no doubt with installation.
http://areski.net/areskicc-doc-v2/ you can get a real, almost perfect Calling Card Application to use with Asterisk.
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+at+large you can read on samples how SER and Asterisk connected.
The last link i'm still experiencing some problems to place everything in same machine but i think people in lists can help you as i get many help from them :)
Thanks,
Ozan

Hi all,
I'm sure someone must have heard about Linux VoIP Server LiveCD
http://www.wifi.com.ar/english/voip.html. By considering ROI, i planing
to get one in with asterisk B2BUA solution package. I myself are really
not good to build one, which could be time consume and might go wrong
especially the billing part. Since the LiveCD is utilizing SER, I'm
thinking to setup some asterisk servers for B2BUA and PSTN gateway
purpose and integrate with it.
Therefore, I would like to seek more opinions and advices from the
experts. It's worth to get one or should i go for consultant help? And
anyone play with it before?
Thank regards
kh'ng
it's possible use X-lite client with ser?
someone knows the configuration of x-lite t work with ser?
ser is configured in no autentication mode
thank
luca
