Hello,
I wish to configure SER as an Outbound SIP Proxy with
far-end NAT support for sip servers behind nat and
domains management.
Outbound SIP Proxy-----NAT------SIP SERVER-----UA1
|-----UA2
SIP SERVER = ASTERISK (mydomain.org)
I set Outbound SIP Proxy in user agents configuration.
Register MESSAGE are sent to Outbound SIP Proxy
(domain module is loaded).
How ser can re-sent the request to Asterisk server for
registration according to realm?
In fact How ser can handle incoming/outgoing
transactions according to Domains between ser
asterisk and user agents ?
example UA1 call UA2 :
UA1(a)mydomain.org send INVITE to UA2(a)mydomain.org
INVITE message is sent to Outbound SIP Proxy this one
handle "mydomain.org" via domain module.
How ser can relay INVITE to Asterisk ?
If (method=="INVITE") {
if (is_from_local()) { # mydomain.org in DB
..... ???
}
}
How ser can map domains with asterisk address ?
Thanks for help
Harry

Subject: [Serusers] Serweb
Hi all,
I'm using SER-0.9.3 and its serweb version.
I have 2 problems with it:
1- On the login page, when I enter the username, it automatically
completes it with the FQDN, while I need only the domain name; i.e. I
login to http://ser.xyz.com, I enter the username aloha, it's completed
as aloha(a)ser.xyz.com while I need it as aloha(a)xyz.com. Currently, I'm
writing in manually
2- When I login, I'm getting an error on the first page only as "FIFO
not running or bad path to it". The path to it (in config_paths.php file
is /tmp/ser_fifo, which is correct), and when I enter the command serctl
monitor, the counter isn't constant, and same path.
Can anyone help me plz,
Thanks,
Marc

Hi all,
Thanx Klaus for your logic and it works but there is a
problem.The scenario is as follows:
I am registered user of Openser located at
203.XX.XX.25.
My source IP is 202.XX.XX.145. Now when I make a call,
to the user with same source IP i.e behind the same
NAT, RTP sessions are established.
This is because when I avp_write the ruri it writes
203.XX.XX.25 in its id and when I do avp_check with
source_IP it checks with 202.XX.XX.145 and thus
avp_check returns false.
Can something be done about this, so that openser
identifies the proper destination IP address.
Please help.
Thanx

All,
We are working on a design to inter-connect multiple SER proxies running at different geographical locations, and are looking for a way to centrally manage the routing information for all of these proxies. Does anyone know if there is a way of achieving this.
Thanks,
Vikrant
Try using 'heslo' as ur password. This is the default.
