Hi,
My SER is able to send out calls to PSTN via a nextone but when
the remote party picks up the call, SER is not able to detect that. The case
I think might be that SER is not getting ACK from nextone.
The scenario works fine when calls are sent out from asterisk, in that case,
calls are taking place fine. I have done everything acc. to the onsip.org
pstn GW document.
Also, How can I set the outgoing (caller-id) rpid field from ser.using
authdb:rpid modparam gives error "parameter not found in moduel auth_db".
Kindly guide urgently.
Thanks and Regards,
Ashutosh Kumar
Hello,
Has anybody had any experience with using BigIP to
load-balance / failover SER?
Thanks in advance,

Hello Tony.
I'm not using the from_patter. This is an example :
+----------------+-------+--------------+
| src_ip | proto | from_pattern |
+----------------+-------+--------------+
| 10.0.0.1 | udp | |
| 10.0.0.2 | udp | |
+----------------+-------+--------------+
Cheers,
Ricardo Martinez.-

Hi
Cool seems to do its job, can't make calls now ;o)
What is the format of the fields in the table? Currently got:
+--------------+-------+---------------+
| src_ip | proto | from_pattern |
+--------------+-------+---------------+
| 196.47.3.231 | TCP | @196.30.7.111 |
+--------------+-------+---------------+
Somehow I think this is VERY wrong????
Thanks
Tony
Hi Guys,
It seems that changes made to a message using "modules/textops::replace"
function
are not available for immediate search using "modules/textops::search"?!
Is this correct?!
I would appreciate your help very much
Thanks
ramin
Hi
Can I use Textops, to alter headers in a invite message?
This is what I'm trying to do!
search_append("P-Asserted-Identity: ", "<sip:");
search_append(" [0-9]\{8\}", "@sip.domian.com>");
Is this at all possible or should I try some other way?
The data I want to add to the header is static.
I'm using OpenSER 0.9.5
Thanks in advance
Martin
Hi,
when a routing in SER goes into the defined
failure_route, how can I find out whether fr_timer or
fr_inv_timer have expired?
So far I only know the way to handle different
SIP-messages with t_check_status()
Many thanks in advance,
Gerhard

This is how i use it :
loadmodule "/usr/local//lib/ser/modules/mysql.so"
loadmodule "/usr/local//lib/ser/modules/permissions.so"
....
# ++++ module permissions
modparam("permissions", "db_url", "mysql://ser:heslo@localhost/ser")
modparam("permissions", "db_mode", 0)
....
# -------------------------------------------------------------
# Chequeo de los INVITE, si no es trusted le hacemos Challenge
# --------------------------------------------------------------
if (method=="INVITE" && !allow_trusted()) {
...challenge....
};
};

Ricardo Martinez.-
