Hello,
How can I generate an ACK locally on openser proxy as a responsetof a failure?
And subsequently drop the failed message. In other word I do not want to pass
the failed message back to my UA, I just want to process it on openser...
Thanks in advance,

Reading through the documentation for the TM module (1.1.0) i've been
unable to find anything indicating that i can change the retransmission
count, only the retransmission intervals
By my count OpenSER is retransmitting an INVITE to an endpoint user 12
times and i would like to reduce this as it is interfering with the call
forward no answer logic i've put in place (timer doesn't hit until all
12 retransmissions are sent, which is about 42 seconds using the default
timers)
Do i have any options other than modifying the tm module code? If so,
could someone give me a pointer where i need to look (i've had a quick
read and its rather complicated so i might take me some time to find the
logic i'm looking for)

Hello!
Are entries in the aliases table only read at startup? While a record
that was in the table before i started openser is available since the
beginning, a entry i inserted a while ago(+1h) but after starting
openser is still not working(and also doesn't appear in the
memory cache). I'd be glad if someone can give me info on this
particular matter, thx!

p.s.: just stumbled over dbaliases, guess this will work better...
We have grandstreams and a few customers that want to block there outbound
caller id. Has anyone done this? I'd really like the *30 and *31 feature
to work but if you turn it on the openser server blocks the call.
TIA,
Shane

Hi,
I m running SER 0.9.6 on FC5. with rtpproxy running on same machine. The communicatin betwwn SER and rtpproxy is 100 % ok since when ever I make calls from one softphone to another I get valid ports, plus i also confirmed by the messages displayed by rtpproxy like new command etc and other mappings. The problem is rtpproxy is not relaying the RTP packets, although I confirmed the RTP packets from both clients reached the SER + rtpproxy machine and are sent on the same port specified by rtpproxy.
Can any body tell whats wrong
Best Regards,
Abdul Qadir

How low will we go? Check out Yahoo! Messengers low PC-to-Phone call rates.
Hi,
I'm finding that my ser clients can't can only unreliably communicate using
MESSAGE packets, and that presence and presence subscriptions are equally
unreliable (i.e. very).
The odd thing is that they do sometimes, in fact, work.
Anyways, I discovered that there are definitely NAT issues going on, since I
can see inbound MESSAGE packets banging on the outside of my firewall.
What are people doing to mitigate this?
Mark

Hi All
Do SER supports 'rfc 3262 Reliability of Provisional Responses in SIP'?
Is there any list of standards supported by SER available??
