Hi list,
I am new with openser configuration, as of now i have only one gateway
directly terminated on USA (PSTN) :
- is it possible to use the LCR module w/c is base on prefix i enter in gw
table route base on my priority? (for now is same priority)
here is my initial config for mysql gw and lcr table :
# GW Table
# gw_name | grp_id | ip-addr | port | uri_scheme | transport | prefix
insert into gw values('gw1',1,4563720857,5060,NULL,1,'1001');
insert into gw values('gw2',2,4563720857,5060,NULL,1,'1003');
# LCR Table
# prefix | from_uri | grp_id | priority
insert into lcr values('1001','%',1,1);
insert into lcr values('1003','%',2,1);

Hi,
when to ip phones phone with each other via openser and i "pull out"
the network cable of both, the calls will never end in our cdr's,
because of the missing bye's.
any idea, how i can fix this?
Can someone tell me what this means? OpenSER is sending it to syslog regularly.
find_credentials(): Error while parsing headers
It seems to be tied to a registration, but isn't happening on all registrations, and even when it does happen, the registration still goes ok.
Thanks.
Doug.
Can anyone think of a way, perhaps using AVPs, perhaps using a custom module,
that I might do something like set fr_inv_timer_avp on the fly to a value
pulled from the database?
I was looking at the AVP commands, and I couldn't figure out a way of grabbing
a number of seconds from the DB (that part's easy enough), storing it into an
AVP, and then storing the value from that AVP into fr_inv_timer_avp.
Now, storing statically is easy enough... at the top of my ser.cfg, I have:
modparam("tm", "fr_inv_timer_avp", "inv_timeout")
And off inside the cfg, I've got:
avp_write("i:45","inv_timeout");
... to write a static number of 45 seconds to the inv_timeout. That works.
I'm just trying to think of a way to make it dynamic, storing a value for that
number of seconds in the DB, and retrieving it on a per-user basis (so each
user could set his individual timeout values should he so desire).
Maybe I'm just not thinking about this correctly. Anyone have a direction I
could try?

Hi,
I already have a SIP proxy which handles SIP registers and acts as RTP proxy.
But that one does not handle presence messages as SUBSCRIBE and PUBLISH.
Is it possible to use Ser together with my Sip proxy ?
What I mean:
- SIP clients will send all messages to SER.
- SER will forward SIP messages like REGISTER, INVITE, NOTIFY to my SIP proxy with no modification to the message.
- SER will also handle SIP messages related to presence and resource lists.
Is this possible ?
What kind of configuration is needed ?
Thanks,
ilker
