For the Wi-Fi don't know yet but I think they built their own using
freeradius with database backend.
For the VoiP I simply extract from CDR then compute minutes and compare it
to my rates table.

Xavier, I can tell you what Michal just told me regarding the "waiting" counter.
"it is number of transactions which are already finished (final reply sent) and are waiting (time configurable by wt_timer parameter) to catch retransmissions."
i don't think i fully comprehend that at this point in my sip/ser learning curve. anyone care to elaborate?
thanks
aaron

Aaron,
I had the same question awhile back. The answer I got is that there is a bug
and this "waiting" parameter doesn't work. I don't know if it has been fixed
yet. I am running 0.9.4.

Hello to everybody,
I have a openser server installed behind a proxy. I know I shouldn't have it, but unfortunately I must, at least for now...
If I open the port 5060, can openser work as if it is
connected to a public IP?
Can I then use mediaproxy or anything else to connect phones outside the proxy, or behinf other proxies?
Thanks
Alessandro
Hi,
just a quick question this time.
When you have several phones registered with the same account, is it
correct that the 200 OK (Register reply) should include all registered
contacts for that account?
It seems that I have a problem with the new Cisco 7960 image (8.20) when
more than one contact address is in the reply.

Hi Everyone,
I decided to update to the latest CVS version after meeting some problems on presence events.
It starts up fine but I see the following errors in the log file:
/root/ser/sbin/ser[17332]: submit_query: Unknown column 'xcap_params' in 'field list'
/root/ser/sbin/ser[17332]: db_query: Error while submitting query
/root/ser/sbin/ser[17332]: db_load_rls: Error while querying presentity
I guess some tables in the mysql needs change. How can I drop all tables and create suitable tables fonr new SER ?
Thanks,
ilker

Hi,
When the UA sends NOTIFY messages to the server it responds with "404 not
found".
what is it that it is not finding. The UA's info is in the "location"
table.
I am using the basic out of the box "quick start" cfg file with
authentication and loacation enabled.
thnx
hi,
If i try to register with a name that includes a domain name [sub-domain
for sure] ala so:
joe(a)pipe.plumbers.com
i get a 513 response saying that the message is too big. the code below is
what is generating the message:
if (msg:len >= 2048 ) {
sl_send_reply("513", "Message too big");
exit;
If on the other hand if i register with joe(a)182.154.23.2 using the IP
address it works well. I did not test a domain name that is not a
subdomain.
I am using version 1.0.1
