Has anyone implemented a call through scenario
eg dial 001 234512367, and thats hits ser, then press # (am thinking this will not work just with SER) dial the next number, and the call is terminated at the second number. 2 stage dialing.

This would require the call to be answered so SER alone can't do it. I may be possible with something like sems, media proxy, or b2bua but the easiest solution would probably to use asterisk.
Search around the wiki for dtmf.
