Hi I have a version of serctl ($Id: serpgctl,v 1.1 2003/04/08 01:25:35 lgfausak Exp $) that is getting the "400 ul_add: flags expected" error. Iqbal said that maybe thats not the serctl version for my SER. I m using ser-0.9.0 and I dont have a postgres version of serctl for this version of SER. Does someone has the serctl_postgres for ser-0.9.0 ?
Thanks João
I thought I would mess around with a 'static' build of ser. (I saw static in the Makefile). So, I use the command:
gmake static_modules=modules/acc,modules/enum,... modules="modules/ acc modules/enum"
everything builds ok.
when I run the ser program, I modify my ser.cfg to omit the loadmodule commands. i get complaints that the modules aren't loaded.
Can I create a self contained 'ser' (all modules linked)? Can I get a static build as well (no external libraries, like libc.so)?

Ok, I found that the serctl for ser-0.9.0 is in ser-0.9.0/modules/postgres/ and is called serpgctl . Now I m sure Im using the correct version of serctl for my ser-0.9.0.... But this is giving the same "400 ul_add: flags expected" error....
Did someone used successfully serctl with ser-0.9.0 and a postgres database?
Thanks Joao
