Hi there,
installing and using ser require a basic understanding of the linux
operating system, including how to install components, as well as build
and install a software from sources. If you don't have that
understanding, please do yourself a favor and read some introductions to
linux first.

The program 'ser' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing:
sudo apt-get install ser
Make sure you have the 'universe' component enabled
