Hi,
I am trying to get an ATA phone working for SER server. Now the ATA phone can receive calls from softphone(kphone) on a PC, while it cannot call out. (softphone, ATA phone and SER server are in the same subnet)
$ serctl ul show 100 sip:100@192.168.1.100:5600;q=0.00;expires=802
Any idea on how to resolve the problem? Thanks!
When I used an ATA186, a long time ago, certain software releases did not resolve SRV records. Cisco said changing one of the flag fields (I cannot remember which) would correct this but it never did. Anyway since my proxy was configured to forward calls based on the domain name and not it's own IP address or hostname ATAs with this problem failed to work. If I remember correctly v2.16.x code worked fine with SRV records.
I cannot say if this is the problem you are experiencing or not but this is all the advice I have to offer about ATAs.

Hi,
I believe ATA's firmware should be OK, because I have tested successfully with external SIP server from sipphone.com (which uses SER I think)
