I tried to install from the debian package but I get the error that the packet architecture (i386) doesn't fit the system one (amd64)

Yes, I updated the control files in the debian repository already and asked one of the debian developers to upload it into the official repository, so it should appear there soon.

In the meantime you can download debian packages from:

http://ftp.iptel.org/pub/radiusclient-ng/debian
