Hello,
I'm trying to register an Xten (1016 build) to SER and i always get a "401" response. Registering an ATA186 to the same SER with the same user and pass works with no problem (logs below Xten). We have tried SIPPS and registers ok too.
Xten send the REGISTER, SER answers with a WWW-Authenticate challenge but Xten doesn't send anything, just sends a new REGISTER after few seconds:

Yes, it works. I can register other UAs with this same SER. But, this Xten, works great with some Vocals and Asterisks we have here. I've been looking again the configuration i don't really know which can be the mistake.
The most strange is that Xten does not send any answer to the WWW-Authenticate. For example, the difference between Vocal and SER is the order of the parameters sent in the challenge and the size of the nonce parameter and Xten registers with no problem in Vocal.
I will look again.
If all else fails you could try X-Lite v2.0 released today: http://www.xten.com/lite.php
Ok, i'll try and let you know.

Hi Erik,
Sounds like a config error, does it work with other SIP UAs?
If all else fails you could try X-Lite v2.0 released today: http://www.xten.com/lite.php
X-Lite v2.0 has registered ok... and i don't know which was the problem with the other version after looking closely to it :(
Anyway, thanks for all the answers!.

Hello,
I'm trying to register an Xten (1016 build) to SER and i always get a "401" response.

If all else fails you could try X-Lite v2.0 released today: http://www.xten.com/lite.php
Side question...
I've got xten lite running on a Dell Axim, and the screen indicates it has logged in to the defined server. However, since the xten image consumes the entire screen, I can't access the Axim keyboard to enter a sip address. (Just purchased the Axim). Anyone know how to bring up the keyboard in order to enter the sip address?

Please attach also your ser.cfg. It seems you have x-lite configured with outbound proxy 192.168.0.254. If you want to pass through nat using ser, you don't need stun. What seems to happen x-lite tries to do nat traversal by its own, but sends the messages to the private ip of your nat box. I don't know where do you want to register, to your nat box, or to some outside domain. If you want to use you nat box as registrar disable nat traversal from xlite. If you want to use an outside domain you should do the nat traversal either from xlite or from ser (e.g. mhomed + mangler), but don't use both in the same time!
