Hi,
can anyone suggest a Unix based (Linux or freebsd) SIP<>H323 translator?
We need to terminate calls with a business partner using H323 so our setup would look like this:
SIP Client <> SIP-PROXY <> SIP/H323Proxy <> H323-GK <> PSTN
Vovidas siph323csgw cant do this AFAIK so were looking for an alternative.
If someone is able to enhance Vovidas siph323csgw so it can talk to gatekeepers we would consider paying for it and publish the code under GPL.
best regards,
Arnd
I think asterisk will do this.

ive heard asteriks could do it if the sip-clients would be directly connected to it.
Youre sure it did proxie the requests between a SIP proxy and a Gatekeeper?

I am not -- I missed you asked this point.

Is this a hard constraint? I mean finding SIP partners may be easier than peering with H.323 via some gateways....
