Hi Folks,
I used MAX TNT for dial-up users in the past and now I have a choice to update that equipment to support SIP and act as a PSTN/Media Gateway. I have some doubts about it:
1 - Is there some one using it? (what hardware configuration?) 2 - Does it support all CODEC's? 3 - Does it 'speak' SIP well with SER/OpenSER? (any reference about supported RFC's?) 4 - Any other additional information is welcome!
Thanks in advance. - -- ============================================ Rodrigo P. Telles telles@devel.it TI Manager Devel-IT - http://www.devel.it IVOZ # 1029 +55 14 3324-1200 Bestcom Group ============================================
Lucent's MAX TNT works perfect as PSTN/Media gateway ! I din't find any problems as of now. I used 8E1 cards with madd2,madd3 cards for SIP. Yes, it supports most codecs including g729. It doesn't have any problem with interoperating with SER.
