Hello, you may try 'serctl add/rm ...' while ser is running. Be sure you have already created the database (directory) and the tables (text files). Here are some samples: http://iptel.org/ser/doc/modules/html/dbtext.html#AEN98

dbtext was designed for demos on/or small devices that have no other database system. It has no special tool for management -- use shell commands and text editors.
