Hi Everyone,
Does OpenSER have any mechanism to temporarily suspend or disable a subscriber? For example, if they don't pay their bill.
If not, how are other people doing this? I know I could modify their username or password in the subscriber table, but that seems like a bit of a hack. Any ideas?
Thanks! Daryl
I'd just note that "disabling for non-payment" could be tricky - subject to local regulatory requirements
OTOH you could get into hot water disabling an account completely and thus removing the capability of making emergency calls (112,911..) at least hereabouts (Austria)

You could use the "group" module. Put the the "bad" users into a group and check during call setup if the user is in the "bad" group. IF yes, deny calls except toll-free, emergency calls and your hotline.
